Characters
Celestrixia Domain
- Astrid Celestrixia ("Refactor Queen") - The living, breathing "compiler" of Lunacelerity – a transgender girl who self-styles herself as a "hacker-and-slasher", with her computer on her left arm and her sword in her right hand. Leader-in-Residence of Lymerose, the capital of Britannia Nova, and the "Maîtresse" to the girls of the Rosette Veil.
- Alicia Celestrixia ("Resurge Princess") - Astrid's younger sister, with a heavy interest in deck-building card games and strategising, gifted with the power to summon monsters from the cards she holds. In her day job, she works as a nurse at Lymerose Central Hospital located in the historic Axiom Gardens, where entropy is the least dangerous.
Rosette Veil
- Mireille Ardana ("Velour Matron") - Current matriarch of the Rosette Veil, a centuries-standing sisterhood of graceful combatants, whose origin traces back to the fall of the British monarchy. Her ancestor swore an oath to the first compiler - the original 'Bloom' of historic Lumière-Rose - that her sisterhood would forever guard the Bloom's light in all its future bearers. Mireille and her Veil now fulfill that ancestral vow through their devotion to Astrid, a gesture the highly emotional and attention-seeking girl took far too literally, and now she and Mireille are tight-knit lovers.
Lymerose Advisory Board
- Ava Gardner - The leader of the Advisory Board, responsible for monitoring Lymerose and taking care of administrative concerns Astrid doesn't want to deal with. She holds deep respect for Astrid, often using the formal title "Lady" for her.
- Lydia Melodiia - Lymerose's brilliant intelligence officer, who speaks little and knows lots, though not because she's super stoic, no - she's actually a highly socially awkward nervous wreck in front of everyone that isn't Ava.
Locations
Britannia Nova
The successor state to the United Kingdom, forged after the monarchy's fall. It is not a kingdom, but a stewardship - a collective of self-governing regions united under the banner of a compiled, hopeful future.
- Lymerose - The new capital of the BN, founded by the ancestors of the Rosette Veil as Lumière-Rose during ancient times and currently led by its Leader-in-Residence, Astrid Celestrixia, and the Veil's current matriarch, Mireille Ardana. A living compilation constantly maintained against entropic chaos.
- Meridian Gate - An enormous railway station situated at the very north of Lymerose, directly bordering Ampthill in Bedfordshire. The station was built at the request of Astrid herself during the great transport revamp and the revitalisation of the disused airport in central Lymerose. It features ten platforms, eight bus stops, parallelised ticket gates, an enormous concourse rivalling London's greatest, and an open-source community arcade with new players and developers all the time. It's primarily served by Lymerose Skyrail, a Lymerose-run train operating company, with Lumina Shuttle services to the Airdocks.
- Lumina Airdocks - A grandiose airport sitting in the centre of Lymerose, a revitalised version of the historical London Luton Airport, serving as the primary gateway between Britannia Nova and the rest of the world, as well as a multiversal interface between Lunacelerity and the omniverse.
- New London - A brand-new city built on the ruins of Old London after the civil war broke out following the British monarchy's collapse. Now serves as the commercial centrepiece of Britannia Nova, a sense of stable, compiled normalcy to balance the front-line entropy that defines life in Lymerose.
